“Your face is the story your body tells the world — relax the body, and the story becomes lighter.”
What I Do
My Face & Head Massage is a precise, evidence-informed therapeutic treatment that works not only with the face, but with the interconnected systems that shape it — muscles, fascia, lymphatic flow, chewing patterns, breathing habits, posture, and stress responses.
This is far more than a relaxing facial.
It is a methodical restoration of balance, tone and ease across the entire face–jaw–neck complex.
I work with:
-
jaw release (external and intraoral)
-
deep relaxation of chewing and temporal muscles
-
Gua Sha sculpting
-
vacuum facial cupping for drainage
-
release of the neck, platysma and submandibular zone
-
correction of muscle tone patterns in the upper chest and shoulders
-
optional lifting mask with white clay and algae
Every technique is chosen with intention, based on real anatomy and function.
Why the Method Works
For most people, facial tension is not a “skin issue.”
It is a biomechanical and emotional pattern.
Here are the facts in simple language:
1. Facial muscles are unique.
Many of them attach to soft tissues rather than bone.
That means:
-
they easily fall into chronic spasm
-
emotions and stress immediately change facial tone
-
posture and breathing quickly reflect on the face
2. The jaw muscles are among the strongest in the body.
When they are tight for years, releasing them can feel intense — especially the masseter, which often transfers pain to the temples and head.
This is normal, safe and always controlled.
3. Your neck defines your jawline.
The position of the hyoid bone, the strength of the deep neck muscles, and the condition of the platysma all determine the angle of the neck and chin.
You cannot "fix" the jawline without addressing the neck.
4. Oedema is a functional issue.
Tight fascia, chewing habits, sinus tension, incorrect tongue posture, and shallow breathing all affect fluid dynamics in the face.
5. The face mirrors the whole body.
Tension in the abdomen, diaphragm, pelvis, and spine can reflect upward into the face.
That is why the most stable, long-lasting results come from combining facial work with proper bodywork, movement and posture training.
This approach is honest, physiologically accurate, and effective.

Is the Massage Painful?
Some intensity is possible — especially in the jaw.
The chewing muscles can generate extremely high force, and when they have been tight for a long time, releasing them may cause short-term discomfort.
This is:
-
safe
-
controlled
-
always adjusted to your comfort level
There should never be sharp or alarming pain.
Indications
-
jaw tension, clenching, grinding
-
facial or sinus tightness
-
“tired” or tense expression
-
puffiness and fluid retention
-
neck tension affecting the face
-
headaches and tension patterns
-
desire for natural lifting and tone
Contraindications
-
active skin infections or inflammation
-
recent injectables (Botox, fillers) — requires waiting period
-
recent surgeries of the face or neck
-
acute illness or fever
-
threads (PDO, PLLA, PCL)
If threads are present in any area of the face, that zone must not be massaged.
Threads form fibrotic anchors; massage softens fibrosis and can compromise the integrity or position of the threads.
If you have threads, please inform me in advance.
How to Prepare
-
come with clean skin (no makeup)
-
stay well hydrated during the day
-
avoid salty foods and alcohol before your session
-
refrain from intense workouts or heat exposure afterward
Personal Note
I do not believe in miracle treatments — I believe in physiology, structure and the intelligence of the body.
A facial massage alone can reduce puffiness, release tension and refresh the skin beautifully.
But the most profound transformation happens when we work with the whole system — posture, breathing, body alignment, jaw function, emotional patterns and daily habits.
When the body comes into balance, the face naturally becomes brighter, lighter and more expressive.
This is the kind of beauty that lasts.
