What is Visceral Therapy?
Visceral therapy, also known as abdominal massage or organ realignment, is a gentle yet powerful manual technique that focuses on restoring the natural mobility and harmony of your internal organs. This unique therapy works through the soft tissues of the abdomen to release deep tension, improve circulation, and support the optimal functioning of your digestive, reproductive, and lymphatic systems.
During the session, I use slow, mindful movements and gentle pressure to assess and influence the position and tone of your internal organs. Every touch is precise and guided by sensitivity — helping the body to let go of restrictions and return to its natural rhythm.
How Does Visceral Therapy Work?
Each session begins with a short consultation to understand your health background, lifestyle, and any specific concerns such as bloating, digestive discomfort, or stress-related abdominal tension.
You’ll lie comfortably on the massage table while I apply warm oil to the abdominal area. Using soft yet deep manual techniques, I gently work around the stomach, liver, intestines, diaphragm, and lower abdomen. This process helps release adhesions, restore natural movement between organs, and improve blood and lymph flow.
As tension is released, many clients notice a deep sense of warmth, lightness, and inner calm — sometimes even emotional release, as the abdomen is closely linked to our emotional state.
Benefits of Visceral Therapy
From my personal and professional experience, visceral therapy has a profound impact on both physical and emotional well-being. Its benefits include:
-
Improved digestion and elimination
-
Reduced bloating and abdominal discomfort
-
Support for hormonal balance and reproductive health
-
Enhanced liver and gallbladder function
-
Relief from chronic fatigue and tension
-
Improved posture and mobility of the diaphragm

Emotional release and stress reduction
By restoring proper alignment and rhythm to the internal organs, the whole body begins to function more efficiently — promoting vitality, balance, and natural healing.
